Cairo Criminal Court on Wednesday listened to a statement by former president Hosni Mubarak defending himself at court in his retrial over charges of killing protesters in January 2011 along with other charges of corruption and squandering public funds.
This is the first time that Mubarak speaks at court since his trial started on August 3, 2011.
