Morocco’s parliament will delay a session dedicated to questioning Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane, sources have revealed. The inquiry, originally slated to take place this Friday, has been rescheduled for May 31. Sources have pointed to a meeting between King Mohamed VI and Morocco’s Independence Party leader Hamid Shabat at the royal palace in Rabat for the hold-up. Talks will focus on the Independence Party’s recently announced decision to withdraw from government.
