The Moroccan city of Marrakech will host a car race on ice in December in what will be the first of a kind event in Africa. A stadium ground will be covered by ice to pave way for the competition that is already very popular in France. The organizers have expressed confidence in the success of the race, adding that this type of event will draw many tourists to Morocco. A number of high-profile guests are expected to participate in the race, including several Moroccan racing champions.
