Libya's army retakes strategic Benina area

The Libyan army took over Benina area in Benghazi after fierce clashes with militants of the so-called Benghazi Revolutionaries' Shura Council.
"The army managed to retake the city after long and fierce clashes with the terrorists," a military source told MENA, adding that a soldier was killed and scores were injured.
The source said the army had stepped up its offensive against terrorists to recapture Benghazi, noting that the terrorists suffered heavy losses.
On Wednesday, the Libyan army launched a wide-scale operation to retake Benghazi, Libya's second largest city.
