Libyan special forces were assigned with surrounding the area where the security HQ in Benghazi, Libya's second largest city, is located and be on stand-by in case of any emergency. Special forces were deployed across Al-Hawary area to protect the HQ against any armed attacks, a military source said. On Thursday night, Libyan security forces deterred an armed attack at the building, leaving 9 killed and 24 injured. Three special forces men were reportedly kidnapped during the attack. Source: MENA
