Head of Defence at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon [STL], Francois Roux, has revealed a formal pledge by the Lebanese government to cooperate with ongoing investigations. Roux announced the Lebanese government would cooperate in defence investigations, meanwhile denying rumours that media reports had published confidential information. Speaking in an interview with Lebanon’s Assafir newspaper, Roux revealed he had briefly visited Lebanon recently following complaints of “increasing obstacles” by the tribunal’s defence team.
