The Lebanese Army obstructed overnight a militant group that tried to infiltrate into Lebanon through Wadi Hmayed in Arsal, the Army directorate said.
The clash resulted in the killing of one militant and the injury of others, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
On the other hand, unidentified man tossed on Wednesday night a hand grenade in Bab el Tebaneh wounding two persons.
Security forces cordoned off the area and opened investigations in the said incident.
