Jordanian military officer Sergeant Yezn Yassine al-Rawashdeh, a member of the country’s United Nations peacekeeping force in the Ivory Coast, has died, according to security sources.
The officer died as a result of an as yet unconfirmed illness.
Al-Rawashdeh was deployed to the African country in November 2012.
His body is expected to be flown back to Jordan in the next few days.
