Amman - Iman Abu Kaoud
Jordan’s Islamic Action Front Party has demanded that the government expel any foreign troops in Jordanian territories. It stressed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are capable of protecting Jordan.
The party called on Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour to deny foreign troops. Spokesperson for the Jordanian government, Mohamed el-Momeny, acknowledged the deployment of 200 American soldiers in Jordan.
The Islamic Action Front stressed that the sending of the 200 US soldiers to Jordan is a thinly veiled strategic move in aid of US ally, Israel.
