Jordan's army denied reports that US troops had been deployed on the Jordan-Syria border.

The army's command termed as "pure fiction" these reports.

There are no foreign forces of any nationality on the border with the war-torn country, said the command.

The army is able to secure the kingdom's borders, he said.
