Prime Minister of Jordan, Dr Abdullah Al Nsour has stressed the need to continue coordinating the efforts of all Jordanian parties and agencies concerning the Syrian refugee situation.
Al Nsour said he wanted to keep the balance between providing humanitarian services to the Syrians in Jordan and preserving the national interest.
Senior members of the Syrians Refugees affairs Committee attended a meeting with the prime minister to discuss the latest developments in the refugee camps.Al Nsour revealed he had discussed with the committee, the efforts made by Jordan to encourage international community to assume its responsibilities to help Jordan face the growing challenges and burdens of providing aid for the increasing numbers of Syrian refugees.
The Committee, which included a number of ministers and heads of security agencies also discussed the recommendations made by the House of Representatives for the security, political and social developments in the Syrian crisis and its impact on Jordan.
The Committee confirmed that the government, security executives, and the House of Representatives are working to achieve the national interests and goals of the Jordanian state.
