A series of raids were launched on the Sudanya region in northern Gaza, by Israeli gunboats at dawn on Thursday. Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli gunboats stationed in the Gaza Sea targeted farmland in the province. A large fire broke out, but no injuries were incurred.   Citizens of the town recalled hearing the sound of six explosions, which were later identified as coming from the gunboat bombings. The attack follows the Israeli assault on Khan Younis province in southern Gaza on Wednesday. Five Israeli bulldozers entered the area, while Israeli aircraft\'s dropped a number of light –bombs.
