Israeli Occupation Forces in east Khan Yunis (South Gaza Strip) opened fire at a citizen’s houses and lands around Farrahin border area this morning.
Eyewitnesses said that a number of soldiers came out of three Israeli military jeeps – which were centred in Farrahin military site, east Khan Yunis - and fired randomly towards the surrounding agricultural terrains, without causing any injuries.
Fishing boats in front of the coast of Rafah and the area of al-Sudaneya area were also fired at, no injuries or damage were reported among fishermen and their boats as they rushed in their boats to the shores in fear of being shot.
The Israeli authorities have also recently opened the Karam Abu Salem commercial crossing (south east Rafah, far south Gaza Strip) on Wednesday after being closed for five days under the pretext of the Jewish holidays.
Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Gaza's Supplies, Raed Fattouh, said the Israeli authorities will allow the entry of four truckloads of biscuits coming from Gaza Strip towards the UNRWA schools (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) in the West Bank, which is provided by the World Food Programme.
Fattouh mentioned that they will also allow the entry of 340 truckloads of aids and goods for commercial, agricultural and transport sectors in addition to pumping limited quantities of cooking gas only.
