Amman - Arab Today
Thirteen civilians, including a family of four people, were killed Wednesday by the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) at Al-Bahra village in the eastern outskirts of Deir Az-Zour, East Syria, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said today that ISIL have taken over the villages of Al-Masoudia, Dwebeq, and Al-Ghouz, as well as the towns of Turkman Bareh and Ikhtren in the northern eastern countryside of Aleppo after violent clashes with Islamic battalions in the area, noting that Al-Nusra Front and other Islamic battalions have pulled back from the area.
The clashes led to death of many fighters from both sides in addition to capturing many ISIL fighters, SOHR added, pointing out that clashes are currently ongoing between the two sides around Arshaf village.
