Iraqi troops killed on Thursday 28 militants in a crackdown on al Baghdadi district in Anbar province, liberating six villages from the terrorist group.

A blast, meanwhile, rocked the Iraqi capital of Baghdad earlier in the day, killing a civilian and wounding four others.

The injured were carried to hospital for treatment.
