Baghdad – Jaafar Al Nasrawi
An Iraqi security source has confirmed the death of at least 8 people after a suicide bomb exploded on Monday in the capital Baghdad.
The attack occurred on a police station in the Tikrit area of the city, said the source.
Most of the victims are believed to have been police officers, including a further 20 people who were injured at the site.
The news comes after an earlier attack on the Salaheddin police station on Monday, also in Tikrit, where a suicide bomber drove an oil tanker into the building before blowing himself up.
