The Iraqi forces launched Saturday a large-scale military operation to retake control over the Anbar governorate's city of Ramadi, west of Baghdad, from Daesh militants.
US-led coalition jets bombed the extremist group's hideouts in western Anbar, killing dozens of terrorists.
Also, security forces killed six Daesh fighters in Salaheddin governorate, northern Iraq.
