Violent clashes have broken out between Iraqi troops and armed individuals in the central Iraqi city of Ramadi.
Soldiers carried out an air strike in the volatile Anbar province, with the number of casualties yet to be confirmed.
A security source in Anbar told Arab Today that different types of weapons were used during the clashes on Friday.
The source added that the gunmen were travelling in Ramadi when they were stopped by Iraqi forces. After both parties exchanged fire, the air strike was launch targeting the the gunmen\'s vehicle.
