Baghdad - Jaafar Al Nasrawi
Demonstrations set for Friday in Iraq’s Anbar province have announced the day’s protests will come under the title: “No to the tyrannical ruler, no to the federal court.”
Protests will be “massive,” organisers claimed.
Saeed Lafi, spokesman for the Ramadi demonstrations, claimed the latest actions aim to deliver a strong message to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
Lafi warned against the “politicisation of the judiciary” which “would not serve the people,” referring to the recent annulment of a law concerning mandates within the three presidencies of the federal court.
The Ramadi spokesman said: "If the court's decision is neutral we will announce to the whole world that this dictatorship must end.”
