Iran has sent an official invitation to Egypt to participle in the international meeting regarding Syria. The meeting will be held in Tehran on May 29.
The head of the Iranian Care office in Egypt Mogtabi Amany delivered the invitation to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Amany said that many ministers of foreign affairs and senior officials were invited to participate in the meeting as a framework for resolving the Syrian crisis, adding that participating countries have an important role in strengthening the bonds of cooperation to find a solution for the Syrian crisis.
The Iranian minister of foreign affairs Ali Akbar Saleh had previously stated that his country intends to hold an international meeting concerning Syria.
