Houthis open fire on protesters

Houthi militants opened fire on protesters and attacked journalists in central Yemen on Wednesday.
The news was carried by Al Arabiya Al Hadath TV channel on Wednesday, without mentioning further details.
The Houthis seized Sanaa last September before tightening their grip and prompting Yemeni President Abdrabu Mansur Hadi to tender his resignation.
The Houthi advance has also strengthened the country’s Al Qaeda branch.
Earlier this month, the Houthi leadership issued a "constitutional declaration" dissolving parliament and establishing a 551-member "transitional council."
