Gazan security forces have arrested two suspects following the shooting of a Fatah faction leader last week in Jabaliya refugee camp, police have said. Senior Fatah official Jamal Obeid was injured after Friday prayers last week when masked gunmen carried out a drive-by on a motorbike. Obeid sustained leg injuries before being transferred to a local hospital for treatment. Police sources said two men arrested had already confessed the crime. “We expect the two suspects are also linked to Fatah and the dispute relates to internal factional issues,” police said.
