Baghdad – Jaafar Al Nasrawi
Unknown gunmen have killed three Iraqis after they stormed a residential home in eastern Mosul.
“Unknown men stormed a civilian home in Mosul, opening fire on its residents,” a security source told Arabstoday on Saturday. “They killed two women and a man, while another person was injured.”
Security forces have intensified their presence in the area, while bodies were taken to a nearby health facility for forensic tests.
The wounded individual was meanwhile transferred to a hospital for emergency treatment.
An investigation into the incident is now underway.
A policeman was also killed in central Mosul on Friday, after security forces foiled a car bomb attack in the Nineveh province city.
