Gaza - Mohammed Habib
The Minister of Interior in Gaza, Fathy Mohamed, has declared that his government was preparing for a possible confrontation with Israel.
“Israel has realised that Gaza’s security had improved. They can no longer obtain the sort of information they would have got in the past through their spies,” said Mohamed.
He also claimed that Israel was in a state of confusion following the attacks Hamas launched into their territory during the conflict last month.
The Ministry of Interior is currently working on improving performances to become more resistant to Israel.
“The Palestinian factions have won several battles against Israel, in terms of politics, security and media. We have achieved noticeable progress so far in these fields. We will learn from our mistakes,” said Mohamed.
The Minister of Interior also praised Sudan for supporting Palestine.
Mohamed urged all Arab states to support Gaza’s authorities in order to protect the whole of Palestine.
