The tourism department of Minya governorate has received a foreign delegation of tourists from Spain and Germany to visit tourist destinations and archaeological sites.
The 4-day delegation’s tour included visits to Tuna el Gebel, Tel El Amarna and Beni Hassan archaeological sites to get acquainted with the history of the ancient Egyptians, Tharwat Fathi, the director of the tourism department said in a statement on Sunday.
The delegation has praised hospitality and expressed happiness for visiting such historical places in which they felt safe and secured.
