A fire has destroyed all contents of the criminal prosecution office in Bab Al Khalq, south of Cairo. The blaze broke out on Thursday morning severely damaging the office, leading to the collapse of the ceiling.  There were no reported deaths or injuries. Judicial sources confirmed that the office contained prosecution and appeal documents. General Abdul-Aziz Tawfiq, Director of the General Administration of Civil Protection confirmed that they are waiting for the forensic report to determine the cause of the blaze, and if there is any suspicion of a criminal offence.
