Fierce clashes took place at dawn Friday in several districts in the Old Town on the backdrop of closing al-Aqsa mosque by the Israeli authorities and preventing those who are less than 50 years old from entering the mosque.
The Israeli troops also imposed restrictions on the prayer performers.
