Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) said the committee meeting last Monday put forth a suggestion to reform the current government.
This proposal was postponed however in light of the Palestinian membership’s request to the UN this month.
Hanna Omeira said: \"Fatah don’t agree on changing recent government as they see that the most important thing now is to agree on a unified policy to solve the current financial crisis.”
He said \"now we are concentrating on the UN issue and its consequences.\"
Among the suggested topics in the committee meeting was to hold a socio-economic conference to discuss Palestine\'s financial crisis, sources said.
Secretary General of the Palestinian People\'s Party Bassam Salehy said \"it\'s not important to have a reformed government but our priority is to agree on a program and framework to reform our financial situation.\"
He added: \"we should not change the recent government and we are not evading participating in a factional government, but we don’t want to change its recent form.\"
