A battalion affiliated with "Fajr Libya" operation declared a curfew in Sirte city on Saturday.
The curfew will be enforced from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., spokesman for Battalion 166 Khaled Abu Jazia said.
The curfew was imposed after armed clashes with Daesh elements in the city, he said.
A Battalion patrol was ambushed by Daesh militants in Sirte Friday night, leaving two injured, he added.
