Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi and US Secretary of State John Kerry
discussed over the phone Egypt's road map and the amended constitution, spokesman Badr Abdel-Atti said Sunday.
Kerry said the US was so keen to see the road map which was announced after the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi implemented.
Egypt's successful democratic experience would have a great impact on the world and the Middle East, the spokesman quoted Kerry as saying.
Fahmi and Kerry also discussed the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks and Iran's nuclear issue.
