Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil

Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil attended on Wednesday the inking ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Export Development Authority and the Egyptian Exporters Association (Expolink).

The memo is meant to boost Egyptian exports in various markets, especially African ones, the Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

The three-year memo is meant to prop up medium, small and micro-sized enterprises in various governorates.

The minister said boosting exports is a top priority for the government in order to up economic growth rates.

Qabil said the memo will help exporting companies to participate in international exhibitions in addition to sending missions abroad to stand on pioneering international expertise and open new markets for Egyptian exports.
