An explosive charge went off on Tuesday in northern the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
In the meantime, anti-terror troops arrived at Tikrit city to reinforce the joint troops which are fighting against Daesh militants in northern Iraq.
Security sources said the charge went off in Al Rashidiya neighborhood in northern Baghdad, leaving one person injured.
In Tikrit, joint forces of the Iraqi police and army backed by Al Hashd Al Shaabi (popular committees) fighters continued their operations to liberate Tikrit city from the grip of Daesh militants.
The joint forces aim at destroying the defenses of Daesh after scores of their militants were killed in Tikrit and isolate Qadissiya and the area of the presidential places from the center of the city.
