Egyptian lawyer Samir Sabry has filed a case against President Mohammed Morsi for his failure to take legal action against Israel, over their possession of Sinai’s oil after the 1967 war.
He said the decision to bring a lawsuit was made after Egyptian Jews filed a compensation claim against the state for being forced to leave their possessions in Egypt.
Sabry told reporters that Egypt must demand compensation from Israel for oil theft.
Last week, leading member of Muslim Brotherhood Essam al-Erian told Egyptian Jews to return to their country and leave Palestine to the Palestinians.
