Cairo - Akram Ali
The head of the Egyptian Democratic Front party Osama El Ghazali Harb has said that current president Mohammed Morsi does not have the capability or the qualifications to lead Egypt.
During a conference at the El Nahda University in Beni Suef, Harb accused the Muslim Brotherhood of failing to "effectively manage Egypt’s affairs."
According to a press statement issued by the Democratic Front, Harb criticised the Brotherhood for restricting youth liberty by “deceiving them with religious concepts.“
Harb also accused the brotherhood of not having the relevant “competencies and experiences of administration” in office.
“The intellectual contributions in Islamic culture come from those not associated with the Muslim Brotherhood” said Harb, listing authors such as Taha Hussein, Abd El Rahman el Sharkawy and Abbas El Akkad.
