Twenty five suspects who belong to terrorist groups arrested north of Sinai on Saturday, spokesman for the Armed Forces Colonel Ahmad Ali said.
In a statement, the spokesman added that the suspects are charged with stealing weapons from a police station in Be'er Al-Abed area, trading with arms, and terrorizing citizens in that area.
The spokesman noted four vehicles and two motorcycles were confiscated, in addition to a Russian-made machine gun.
Ali said that the armed forces will continue to raid and search for terrorist hideouts in an attempt to restore security and stability in northern Sinai.
