Rafah - Yosry Mohamed
Egyptian authorities have opened Rafah crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip on early Saturday. A source announced that Egyptian authorities decided to open the crossing for four hours on a daily basis to allow patients and humanitarian cases enter Egyptian territories.
Egypt closed the crossing - Gaza\'s only gateway to the outside world not controlled by Israel - on Friday, when supporters of deposed president Mohammad Morsi staged rallies to demand his return to power.
The border terminal was temporarily opened on Thursday to allow stranded Palestinians to cross.
More than 3,000 Palestinians are currently stranded on the Egyptian and Gazan sides.
