Head of Egypt’s Intelligence Authority General Raafat Shehata arrived in Khartoum on Thursday. Shehata heads a delegation scheduled to meet Sudanese governmental officials. The group will discuss the crisis arising from the issue of the Nahda dam project in Ethiopia. The dam has been a source of concern for the Egyptian government following concerns that once built, the dam could negatively impact the volume of Nile water reaching Egypt and Sudan.
