The Rafah crossing will be closed for four days during the Islamic festival of Eid al-Fitr, Egyptian sources have confirmed. The crossing, between Gaza and Egypt, will close on Thursday and be reopened next Monday. At the moment, the checkpoint is only in operation for four hours a day.
