Egyptian land and air forces launched a large-scale campaign against strongholds of gunmen in Sheikh Zwaied early Friday, a Ma’an reporter said. Security sources said Apache helicopters bombed strongholds of \"dangerous\" gunmen in al-Fatat and al-Zawara villages south of Sheikh Zwaied. Strong explosions were heard.
