The Cairo-Alexandria desert road, Qattameya-Ain Sokhna road, Suez road and Rod el Fareg and Dhabaa axes were closed Tuesday morning due to heavy fog, said Egypt's traffic authority. 

Egypt's Meteorological Authority has warned of a wave of heavy fog this week, which could impair drivers’ vision during early morning hours.

Also Port Said-Qentara road was also closed. 

The traffic authority has increased the number of traffic police on roads to facilitate safe commutes
