Death toll from the collision of two microbuses in Luxor's West Bank rose to 19 people, said Abul Naga Al-Hagagi, head of the Luxor's Ambulance Authority.

The official expected a rise in the number of deaths in view of the serious injuries reported among the passengers.
Some of the bodies are still being lifted from the canal where the microbuses have fallen, added the official.
The bodies were carried to Al-Qerna Central Hospital, while the injured were admitted to Luxor International Hospital.
