Daesh militants killed 1,300 Syrians in Palmyra ancient city since they stormed it earlier, Syrian activists said on Sunday.

The causalities included 900 government forces and 400 civilians, some of them women and children.

The clashes forced a large number of residents to leave the city due to the daily clashes there.
