Daesh terrorist group beheaded eight foreign workers among the nine that were abducted last week from Ghani oilfield near the town of Zalla, Libya’s military spokesman Ahmed al-Mesmari said on Monday.
During the attack on the oilfield, an employee watched the beheadings of the eight foreigners and subsequently died of a heart attack, Mesmari said.
He did not give any more details concerning the incident.
Earlier, Filipino and Austrian authorities asserted that nine nationals were kidnapped during the attack on the oilfield.
