At least six people were killed and scores injured Saturdaywhen a booby-trapped car exploded near a security checkpoint in the centralprovince of Hama, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).The SOHR expected that the death tally would go up as the many of the injured arein critical conditions.It, however, did not mention details about the identities of the victims and howmany civilians among them.The SOHR also reported that five missiles launched by the opposition fighters fellon the farmland of Karsana town, which is inhabited by Alawite minority, leading tomaterial damages.   Source: KUNA
