Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League Ambassador Ahmad bin Hilli called for re-activating the Arab initiative and be ready for any delinquency in the Palestinian-Israeli track led by the United States.
Bin Hilli stressed, in his speech before the meeting of senior officials and permanent delegates, the need for coming up with alternatives and active diplomatic move to break the state of immunity enjoyed by the Israeli authorities against any judicial pursuits for their crimes and lack of Israel's adherence to peace resolutions.
He also affirmed the Arab League's full support of the just Palestinian causes against the continued Israeli crimes.
On the Syrian situation, Bin Hilli called for a decisive Arab position leading to a political solution and end the Syrian people's catasrophe and preserve the territorial integrity of Syria.
He also called for keeping the Middle East region a free zone of weapons of mass destruction and confront terrorism saying that such issues undermine stability of the Middle Eastern societies and hamper development.
He thanked Qatar for the role it played in serving the joint Arab action during its chairmanship of the previous round.
