Lebanese parliament speaker Nabih Berri appreciated on Sunday Egypt's role in achieving the Palestinian reconciliation.

Berri expressed the appreciation at a meeting with Egypt's Ambassador Nazeh el Nagary and Palestine's Ambassador Ashraf Dabour who posted the Lebanese parliament speaker on the developments in the Palestinian reconciliation brokered by Cairo.

Berri hoped the reconciliation efforts would succeed in the coming period.
