Al Azhar Senior Scholars Authority will hold an urgent meeting Tuesday, under Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb, to discuss the Israeli violations at Al Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement, Al Azhar said the meeting will deal with the escalation of Zionist violations against the defenseless Palestinian people and Islamic holy sites over the past few days, in addition to the ongoing Judaization attempts of Jerusalem.
The meeting will also discuss the role to be played by the Islamic scholars in dealing with these violations against the third of the two holy mosques, it added.
