At least 8 were killed and 4 were injured, Monday morning, due to blasts caused by a car bomb in Bartella, near Mosul, north Iraq. The explosion targeted a residential complex for displaced families. It is worth mentioning that Mosul was considered a stronghold of Al-Qaeda in the past years, where it saw some of the fiercest battles in Iraq following the US invasion.
