Algerian military units intensified their attacks against al-Qaeda centres on Tuesday. They imposed tighter air control around the forest areas near Atlas Mountains. A security source revealed that a terrorist group attempted to infiltrate into the Algerian state of Bowira through the mountains that link between Bowira and Bejaya. The source added that the attempt came as a result of intensive measures taken by Algerina troops to besiege terrorist groups during the recent weeks. The Algerian military troops managed to kill seven armed people loyal to al-Qaeda during their recent attacks against the centres of the terrorist organisation. The Sahria Mountains are considered a strategic site for the extremists to exercise their terrorist activities.
