Algeria’s security forces seized explosives possessed by a number of smugglers on the Mali-Algerian border. Preliminary investigations reveal that the smugglers are affiliated to Tawhid and Jihad Movement. Security sources told Arab Today that they managed to stop another smuggling attempt last week, killing five people from Tawhid and Jihad Movement. Algerian military troops are now monitoring the border area intensely.
